In the beginning…
Waypoint Sealants, the choice of professional contractors, are now available nationwide to all consumers who demand the very best products and results. Our first line of cleaners and sealants were created over 8 years ago and have endured continuous improvements and rigorous testing in every climate and installation environment imaginable. The “first formulas” for the outdoor sealant family were created as a “custom blend” sealant and cleaner for a luxury pre-cast tile manufacturer. After the manufacturer won awards in Alabama and Florida for the beautiful appearance of their tiles, we knew we were on the right path to something special. From such humble beginnings, Waypoint Sealants have evolved into a premium family of products that are used throughout the United States for all types of material, to include wood surfaces, natural stone (i.e.., limestone, flagstone, bluestone), concrete, concrete pavers, travertine and of course, pre-cast tile.

We are often asked, “what makes you different” from other similar products? It’s simple, we are absolute fanatics about quality ingredients and mixing. So how do we do it? We have a long-term strategic partnership with the “mad scientist” himself, the man who owns the chemical company! Nothing leaves the plant without product testing and quality controls. No great chef tells all the secrets in the recipe, but we can tell you that we have proprietary formulas that cannot be reproduced outside of our license. Here is the best part, we are so confident in the quality of our products that we warranty all our sealant products for a minimum of 2-years, unconditionally!

One thing we knew from the beginning was anyone outside of the professional installer community would want a product that was easy to install. Our products are manufactured in a variety of ways. For example, some of our sealants are solvent based, and some are water based. When you check our product guides you will find that all the “technical information” for each product is provided. Although some of the “chemistry” for our products might be different, there is one thing every Waypoint Sealant has in common and that is ease of application! Our products are easy to use and apply and just as easy to clean up. If you miss a spot, no problem, our products are designed to be able to be “enhanced or touched up” after application. Many of our products allow for foot traffic in as little as 20-30 minutes. No more worries about your favorite pet, or your neighbor’s pet, leaving footprints on your newly sealed patio.
